This is a contour line drawing of the plant in my window that I got from a friend when Lucky passed away. The Flowers are all gone from it now, but I have managed to keep the plant alive. As I post this, I am looking out my bedroom window. I have decided to use my desk more now that I have it accessible and have begun working at it. It helps my sleep a lot because I am not doing everything in my bed, also helps my neck and shoulders because I am sitting properly. Anyway, I mention this because I am having a joyous time watching the squirrel that has taken up residence in our back storage area run back and forth across the yard in front of my window. He does not stop long enough for me to draw him, but he is delightful to watch. Praise God for little animals, windows to the world, and days off.

This is a one minute sketch from a photo a a squirrel that was taken out the window in my house mate's sister's house in Texas. They had squirrels everywhere there. It was so green and lush compared to Tucson.

This is a sketch of a sculpture that my house mate Julie made and gave me several years back. I like the lady a lot and look at it frequently. Julie said that the sculpture reminded her of me and my recovery in life. As I walk down this path of life and walk with other people and new people down this path of life, I think of this picture often as I see new people begin the long journey of healing and life and opening up and exposure. And then as I find myself on the edge of a new cliff with God, I find myself back in this point again at times before I take that leap and burst off the edge.

I went to the Desert Museum here in Tucson on Friday to avoid the craziness of the shopping. I thought it would be less busy, but it was very crowded hard to sketch or draw anything, but I got these quick sketches of the very fat Prairie Dogs.
